The purpose of this page is to list dispersed campsites. That means campsites not listed elsewhere as established but can be used on a first come basis. Leave-No-Trace principles must be used to keep the site, not only clean, but available. Many sites used in the past are no longer available because the area has been abused by people unwilling to follow Leave-No-Trace principles. Leave-No-Trace is not only part of how a scout agrees to handle himself in the outdoors, but is fast becoming the law of the land. One of the fastest ways to lose privileges in the outdoors is to ignore Leave-No-Trace. Beware adults scouters. Just because that is not the way you are accustomed to operate, does not mean you have the right to ignore Leave-No-Trace principles now! It is sometimes hard to break old habits.
